The BARREL console has an authentic, unique look because it's made from old wooden barrels.

The whisky barrels are made from quarter-sawn American white oak. This wood is very strong and hard, yet highly resistant. The pieces that create the barrels are called staves, and are available in different sizes. There are usually between 30 and 34 staves in a barrel.

The inside of the barrels is charred, which means that the furniture will be black on one side. The outside of the barrel wood is darker in color, ranging from brown to green to black.

The staves are cleaned, rounded and sanded without removing too much of the material's patina. You may also notice cracks, splits and chips in the wood from years of wear and tear.
